Success story: Fremap

With a network of 8 hospitals and more than 200 healthcare centres, they needed a dynamic website translated into all the official languages of Spain, in addition to English, to offer a service of excellence to their workers and mutual companies.

    FREMAP is the largest mutual insurance company collaborating with the Social Security in Spain, offering coverage to more than 4.5 million workers. It manages benefits for accidents at work, occupational and common illnesses, among others.

    Challenges and objectives

    FREMAP faced three major challenges in managing its website. The first was multilingual management, as the site had to be translated into several official languages of Spain and English to cover its extensive network of services.

    In addition, translations were required to be automated to manage the dynamic content updated daily, guaranteeing speed and efficiency.

    Finally, the technical specialisation of the texts, related to occupational health and risk prevention, required a precise and high-level technical language in each translation.

    ATLS implemented a fully customised solution for FREMAP using its AT Proxy platform. This tool made it possible to automate the website translations while optimising SEO in all the required languages.

    AT Proxy not only manages the translation of content, but also the metatags. This ensured optimised visibility in search engines, which significantly improved FREMAP's positioning.

    This solution helped to accurately translate complex texts related to occupational health and safety.

    The system was designed to be scalable, allowing additional FREMAP websites to be translated quickly and efficiently as needs grew.

    The implementation of AT Proxy has enabled FREMAP to save time and resources by automatically managing multilingual content without the need for manual intervention.

    The automatic translation of dynamic content has significantly improved the user experience and operational efficiency of the platform.
